2022 - 2023 Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) ENGLISH

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is a Montessori based approach to catechesis in the Catholic faith. Our Lady of the Lake is offering CGS to parishioners with children ages 3 to 4. The Sunday morning 9:45 AM class is now full. We also offer a Sunday afternoon class at 12:30 – 1:30 PM and Thursday morning class at 10-11AM. Classes will begin Sunday, September 11th.

The number of children in an atrium is very limited, so registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. After maximum capacity is reached, we will begin a waiting list. Children who are not yet able to toilet themselves are not ready to enter the atrium.

If you would like to sign up your child for these programs, please fill out the form below so that we can best serve you and your family this year. If you have additional questions or would like to get involved and volunteer, please contact the CGS coordinator Jennifer Conner at ololcgs@yahoo.com.

Fees: The cost for CGS is $35 per child or a cap of $105 for 3 or more children. At the bottom of the registration form, there is a link that will take you to the OLOL donation page where you can pay your registration fee. If you are already giving online, please use the SAME account to pay your registration fees. If you do not have an account, you can create one to pay your registration fees and make donations to the church if you so choose. If you have an account but need help with your username and password, please contact Leanna Baker at leannab@ololcconline.com or 615-338-3908. You also can mail or bring in your payment to the church office. Please make checks payable to Our Lady of the Lake and put “CGS registration fees” in the memo line.
